| This is a great start to the NIMH Room board. I still have the 1994 CD Copy of the Original Soundtrack that I received for Easter several years back and it is in excellent condition. I haven't played it for awhile, but I still enjoy the masterpieces Jerry Goldsmith put together for the movie. Once again, I enjoy the rough complete scores that you've ripped and fixed up! Though the rough scores are short, I can't think of any other reason why the National Philharmonic Orchestra or whoever is in charge would exclude them from the OST. As for other soundtracks, I usually enjoy video game OSTs like those from the Serious Sam series, Fogger: He's Back!, Silent Hill, and many others. For movies, I've enjoyed Once Upon a Forest, A Beautiful Mind, and Planes Trains & Automobiles to name a few. | |

| Well, I usually just take it for granted that OST CDs are NEVER the complete score. Reasons probably include pacing and (for movies with longer scores) the 80-minute limit that a CD can hold. Of course, NIMH's complete score, as far as I know, only goes up to 67 minutes. But I think the biggest reason in NIMH's case is because its OST was produced in the '80s, when butchering film scores for the OST was common practice. And video game scores are AWESOME! My older sister enjoys the music from The Hobbit, and I do like the music for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, but one of my all-time favorites is Jumpstart 3rd Grade, a computer game I used to play all the time, even past 3rd grade. | I bought the NIMH soundtrack on iTunes a few years ago...and later payed the extortion fees to Apple to get the malware-free versions of the songs so I can put them on my phone (especially the two versions of Flying Dreams). Aside from NIMH, I like a lot of the music in Don Bluth films, like All Dogs Go to Heaven or An American Tail. I also like the music from old educational computer games I used to play (and still do from time to time). My favorites there were the Super Solver series. https://www.youtube.com/user/CallinWire/videos | |

| The music by Jerry Goldsmith has not only blessed The Secret of NIMH, but many great classics. | |

Yeah, All Dogs Go to Heaven was great! I would fast forward the song and dance krap but in time I found that in All Dogs Go to Heaven the ditty`s are quite catchy. *What`s your`s is mine, what`s mine is yours* stuff like that there.

| Nice job!!! I remember finding that version of Flying Dreams on YouTube awhile back. The uploader noted that it was on an Italian DVD release I think. | |

| I listened to my RCS version of The Sentry Reel the other day, and I thought to myself "You know, I can make it sound better than this." So, I made a few tweaks to the original file so that it sounds closer to an actual recording than it did before. The Sentry Reel (Original Upload)The Sentry Reel (Revised Upload)Enjoy! Steven | |

When I asked you if you could do Jeremy The Crow in MIDI Format, this was the limit of my MIDI-making capabilities:

Today, well...

So... May I take over the project?
Steven That's some pretty good stuff! I haven't been able to work on the MIDI lately as I have college work that keeps being thrown at me. I haven't progressed very far since I have started it months ago. You can take over the project if you want to though.

| Oh man, you just brought back so many memories of all of the different Flying Dreams MIDIs there were on old NIMH sites. That sounds really good, Steven! I still have the ancient MIDIs that I had collected from the old NIMH sites, like Dan Ritchie's, David Luke's, Ruth's and David Pochron's versions. The MIDI of Flying Dreams I have playing on my site is Ruth's version. I could upload them all here someday soon when I have no college work. | |

| Well, after what seems like an eternity for such a short piece, we finally have Jeremy The Crow in MIDI Format! My version seeks to mimic the original orchestral version, but you may adapt it for piano if you'd like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL4ujpvbWroAnd, as per my usual routine with MIDI Covers (Flying Dreams doesn't count), here's the MIDI file played alongside the original version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HhZEVdGdPwSteven | |

| That sounds great! It's always a good idea to play the midi alongside the original song to make sure you've got the tempo down correctly. You did that, so props to you! Want me to add that midi track as well when I get around to updating the site again? | |
